So we have found that someone in our building has wi-fi. Nikki feels bad because she says we are stealing it. I say we are sharing.
We have our first dinner party tonight. Heather and Jeff are comming over with there to children. I am looking forward to it. I have a tiramisu recipe that I tried once and I am wanting to try it again.
We found a church last night that looks promising. Eventhough one of the topics caused a huge fight, I think that we might go back. Church for me isn't about the message they are trying to tell you. I am already a Jesus follower. Church is about the people and and conversation. It is also a place where I feel our children should go to assist me in teaching the morals and values I hold. That isn't to say that I believe in everything that the church says. And that dosn't meant that I only want to associate with those poeple. On the contrary, Smash is one f my best friends and he is definatly not a church person. That is one of the reason I admire him. He is not a conformist. I think myelf a non-conformist. I proclaim to be a "Christian" and yet I do things that most "Christians" frown apon.
I don't feel like the church should have a say in the personal relationship that a person has with God. The "Church" isn't the building that most people think. The "Church" is the people that help others when they need it.
PS. I don't condone the guy on the corner convicting people. I think that that type of ministry shold take a look inside itself. I think it goes something like .... Why do you point ot the splinter in others eyes when you have a plank in yours.
