Snow Mashin'?

Today is the day that my brother is supposed to get married. The only issue is that there is a huge friggin’ snow storm right over us and the church is an hour away.
#1 Why the hell would you have a wedding in the month of March? The weather is unreliable.
#2 Why in the hell would you have your wedding an hour away from where you yourself live?
#3 Why the hell would you have your wedding in the month of March?
Did I already stress that it is in the unreliable weather of the month of March?
Now I understand the want and the need to get married. I also understand that this is his and his wife-to-be’s day. I’m extremely happy for them. I was also extremely happy when they asked my eldest daughter (6) to be their flower girl.
I know that this day is not about me. There is also no way they could have known about the weather situation. Sure they could have planned better but the weather is something you don’t think about unless you want an out doors wedding.
I only complain because my family has to be there. If my daughter wasn’t a part then I would feel differently about the ensuing drive.
Who am I kidding? I love driving in the snow. I have yet to purposefully do doughnuts (sorry to disappoint you Smash) but I have fish tailed a few times. I would have to do the snow mashin’ doughnuts when I’m alone in the car. Nikki and the kids would have to be far, far away from the danger I would put them in.
