Exception to the rule

ust finished a few pieces of home made pizza, well it wasn't really home made but I was the one that put it in the oven, and a cookie. Cardboard pizza is usually bland and gross but if you put on a few extras you can make a gourmet meal out of it. I prefer both green and ripe olives, bacon, extra cheese, and sweet banana peppers. That's so friggin' good.

When I checked my e-mail I found that Bill Samuels, The CEO of Makers Mark Bourbon, sent a message.

Nikki set me up to have my name on one of their barrels.

He wanted to remind me that there were some new events on their calendar that may be in my area.

There weren't but that’s OK.

But thee is an event that I am kind of interested in going to. It is called the Thoroughbreds and Redheads Weekend.

Hell Yeah! I have a redhead. She's my wife and I go thoroughbred on her every once in a while.

I guess it is not enough to be able to buy a bottle from the barrel that my name is on. I would really like to tour the distillery ...and sample ;)

Now I'm not a big alcohol buff, but for this I can make an exception.

I would also make an exception to my rule if my Brit Bro would make an appearance in the States.
