To further explain
her entry I will simply say this. No one is leaving Diaryland. There will still be posts, comments left, and laughs had, with one exception.
Well several exceptions.
A friend had some trouble a little bit ago. Since then, most of the people that have been his friends have shunned him.
I am one of them. For that I am very sorry.
Not everyone has the full story, nor do we want to know, because it is really none of our business.
But to judge one person when TWO are clearly at fault is completely unfair.
This world is full of drama and it just so happens that we, as a society, choose a scapegoat.
What good does it do to comfort one person and to scrutinize another, especially one year later, when both were involved.
It just proves how falsely people can claim to be friends.
So don't think that Diaryland is going to loose a member.
That member might be a bit wary of people she calls her friends because of the ability of those friends to turn on one of their own.
Dangerous!
I will also say this.
I am in no way condoning what the scapegoat did. I think it is repulsive, however, I know that it takes two to tango. And the person that people are so willing to comfort and accept knew what they were doing. That repulses me also.
I don't want to entice people into a war of who did what and who's wrong. In my opinion, everyone that has been a part of this has some sort of fault.
Mine is turning my back on a friend of my wifes.
Sometimes the best way to be a friend is to tell the person that they suck. Then bring them back from their low place.
Sugar coating things only causes problems. If you think that you are one of the few that have caused an issue then have the courage enough to ask.
I'm sure that if you are a friend then you will get an earful and told that you suck ...but then be accepted and loved.
That is all.
