Clasical

Today was a special day for Robin and Ginger. They both got their first taste of classical music. We took them to see the Akron Symphony tonight. It was a free concert that bordered on a music class. The Conductor was British and said repeatedly that he had never worked with the Musicians in the Akron Symphony before.
So as he rambled on and on about this dead guy and that dead guy and what they meant by writing this in the music, Nikki and I fielded questions that only 3 and 6 year olds could ask. It was fun for the most part, until Ginger got tired.
Our girls are very well behaved. I know, every parent says that their kids are great but, Robin and Ginger were the best behaved kids, of their age group, there. They were also the best dressed. I have to say, Nikki and I have done a great job with them and they have made it extremely easy. They are naturally good kids.
Robin enjoyed herself very much and Ginger enjoyed the music but not the lecture. Throw a 3 year old into a lecture and you get many renditions of “Mary had a little lamb” sung to you out of boredom.
We all had a fairly good time. In fact, Nikki and I had thought about going again this weekend for the real show.
I know Smash, classical isn’t any damn good to shred tires to.
