Christianity is a contradiction

The view that Christianity is contradictive is in my opinion TRUE

Because I believe that what I just said is true, it is my opinion. Many others share that opinion, but most of those people are not Christians.

Christianity is contradictive because you have so many Christians with their own opinion on what is right and what is wrong. Then those "Christians" attempt to get others to believe in what they think.

I used to have a problem with that. So much that I was almost to the point of walking up the the guy on the corner shouting at me and punching him in the eye.

I have recently accepted the concept of accepting. Christ was a very accepting and forgiving man. He never turned his nose up at anyone. The only time he got violent was when people were violating a holy space. Even in that situation Christ was accepting. He didn't tell the vendors to stop selling their goods. He just told them that they couldn't sell their goods there.

Accepting others is one of the greatest points of Christs teaching, in my opinion. He never said that we had to like everyone. He did say to love your neighbor as yourself. Love and like are two different things.

Christians, in general, in my opinion, have a tough time accepting other Christians views. This causes arguments, fights and the overall need to prove that some one else is wrong.

That is where the contradictions come in. One person proclaiming to be a Christian says to believe in one thing and another Christian says something totally different.

This isn't a bad thing. It actually is a good thing. Except for all the fighting and stuff.

The words in the Bible are said to be "Living". This is because they can mean something completely different to two different people.

Oddly enough ...both people would be right. It is then up to the listener to go and read and come to their own conclusion.

The single act of believing that Jesus was the son of God and that he died for our sins entitles a person to have a communication link to god.

It's in the Bible. Look it up under covenant.

Through this communication, with the Bible as a guide, people come to their own understandings and belief. This is what, in my opinion, God wants from us.

To understand that every Christian may have their own link to God is to accept that every Christian might have a different view. Acceptance is the key.

In my opinion.
