Self time

I have been siting here for the past few minutes trying to figure out how to start this entry. I guess this works.
Over the past few weeks I have got myself involved with several types of video games. I have had a Batman game for the PC for almost a year and have been unable to play it due to program amd memory requirements. The new PC has ample of both program and memory space so I have been able to install it and play.
I consumed a bit of my time, as you may remember from previous entries, away from family. I have since defeated the game and only play it when I have time to.
I also have downloaded a flight simulatior that enables me to pilot the very jets I deal with on a daily basis.
This was what I was playing durring Wifeys mary kay paty.
One of my aquaintences had a flight simulator joy stick and gave it to me. Very nice of him, but I think it just fueled Wifey's fire to dislike him.
I am now in the stages of practicing and flying. I also do this when I have time. Usualy in the morning when the kids are playing and Wifey is sleeping.
I will say this...I do not fall down on my fatherly duties durring this time. I know that Wifey can find things tht I could have done, but I take this time to get my "Hubbyman time" out f the way. As soon as Wifey wakes up i am off the PC and relinquish control of it to her for her morning PC fix.
In response to Wifey's latest entry, I do believe that people who spend time gameing instead of interacting with their family are trying to hide. I also think, and most would agree, that everyone needs to take a little time to themselves daily. Some people pamper themselves with a bath, some people go work in their wood shop, some people interact in the internet, some people play video games. It becomes a problem when the person spends most of their awake time doing these things.
