In a funk
Posted @ 10:39 a.m. on 2006-01-15
For the past few days I have been a funk. Last night me and WIfey got into a conversation that I believe brought the cause for my funk out into the open. By reading Wifey's diary it is pretty obvious what I am going totalk about. I just think that it is in a different perspective.
See, Wifey and I are mostly on the same page with our thoughts and feelings. Explaining them to eachother is a completely different story. Sometimes it seem like we go round and round talking about the same thing and agreeing without realising it.
So we talked lastnight about what was bugging me. It turns out that I have a problem with people who take and take and take and never give back. I have a problem with people and their lack of Respect, refer to #3, and courtesy. For example: If I were to want to stop by and visit someone at their house I would call first. If I made plans with someone and couldn't fullfill my obligation I would call and let them know that I was unable to be there. If I were going to be late for an obligation then I would call and let that person whom I am obligated to know that I am going to be late. I see a trend. COMMUNICATION!!!!!!
So then we moved on to the whole being social thing. OK, I probubly didn't explain myself well when that whole thing started. I am not looking to hang out with members from my crew. We do have people that we like/dont hate and those people are who I ment. If there is a crew function and I want to go then I plan to pre-coordinate, there is that communication thing again, with Wifey. If we don't have any plans and Wifey dosn't mind then I will attend for a little while depending on the location of the function. I normaly don't like to go places without Wifey, so you can imagine how many times I will be going to crew functions without her. To her credit, she does offer for me to go do thing all the time with people. This is where the respect thing comes into play. She realises that I need some guy time and she respects that. I respect that she knows that and I decline the offer and stay with her. It's a vicious cycle.
Another strange thing happened to me a couple of days ago. I went to the bathroom and found that my best friends got haircuts...bootcamp style.
