The Hubbymans definition of the word "Friend"

Here is the way I view friendship as it is. A friend should be someone that you can trust your woman with. A friend is someone that will lend you a shoulder to cry on. A friend will never judge and will stick up for you even if you are wrong. A friend will never lie to you even when it hurts. A friend will lie for you if you need it. A friend will knock you out before the really really big guy at the corner of the bar kills you because you were trying to pick up his rocker babe with the best body in the world, and then tell you he saved your life. A friend will thank his friend for saving his life no matter how black his eye gets. A friend is there to pick you up when you get down no matter what the reason. A friend will never give up on you. And on top of it all, a friend will forgive you because he knows that you are only human....but will threaten to kick your ass if you do it again.

I have known many people that have claimed to be my, my wife’s, or my families friend. Too many people take friendship for granted. "It's not who we are on the inside, it's what we do that defines us". I like that quote for one reason. Simply stated, if you want to be something to someone and never do anything about it, then you will never be who you want to be. Friends act the part. They walk the walk and talk the talk. A true friend will be very plain to see. A false friend will be easy to spot also. Look around you, people, and see who your friends are and who you are friends with. By the way....that quote came from Batman Begins. That movie rocks!
