Classy people

Last nights party went well except for one littel thing. One of the guys I work with brought a flask of alcohol with him. No big deal right? It's not like he was told that there was to be no alcohol at the party. Not like my wife spacificaly requested that. Not like it was partialy a birthday party for my wife. The sarcasm runs thick, dosen't it? The thing that gets me is that he hid it. That means he knew that he wasn't supposed to bring it with him. What a shear lack of respect for my wife and me, and the other adults who brought their kids. Everyone knew that there was to be no alcohol because there were children present and we don't need alcohol to have a good time. That's the way my wife wanted it. It was her party. So now I am going to work and explaining to him that he greatly offended me and my wife. I'm sure that it will fall on def ears. He is one of those people who takes pride that his 6 month old son crawls to a bottle of Jim Beam and a can of Copenhagen snuff. Classy, huh? What the hell is wrong with poeple. He had to be really stupid to think that nobody could smell it. I guess he just dosen't care.
On the brighter side, one of our attendees brought a bottle of wine and roses for the hostess. Yes, wine is alcohol but the difference is the bottle was a gift and was left unopened. That is concidered classy.
It wasn't a flask hidden in a jacket.
